protools and imac incompatability
I previously had a core2 duo with SL running protools 7.4.2 and had lots of problems with programs OTHER than PT freezing up. Eventually i traced the issue to PT (computer ran fine without PT installed). I downgraded back to leopard and PT ran fine.
I now have a new qaudcore i5 running SL, and seeing that PT 8.0.3 is supposed to be compatable with SL i downloaded that and am now having major issues. PT never boots up at all, and other programs are now freezing up again. Ive read about turning bluetooth off. Sorry not an option I dont have a wireless mouse or KB and am not about to go out and buy these. Is there anything I can do to get this to work or do I need to scrap digi and go to a different audio interface? |

Re: protools and imac incompatability
Considering the BT issue is acknowledged by Digi, you should probably just borrow a USB keyboard and a mouse from a friend, disable BT, and try loading PT.
