Re: Need help with weird plug-in error
In this case, you have no option but to wait until Avid releases an update to their plugins that is compatible with Monterey. A recent post by Avid said it will be in a matter of days, so there is hope for you. As for plugins by other manufacturers, you'll need to check with them.

Re: Need help with weird plug-in error
Glad to here it finally got fixed for you. Hopefully we will get a fully native Apple silicon version of Protools in the near future, but given the situation in Ukraine where much of Avid's development is done, the wait may be longer than we like. Keep praying for those in Ukraine.

Re: Need help with weird plug-in error
Focusrite d2... is not part of the Avid Plugin's updates that were released, so you'll need to go to Focusrite to check if they have an update that is Monterey compatible (and works with M1 under Rosetta 2 if you are running on Apple silicon).

Re: Need help with weird plug-in error
I checked and thought it said Monterey was good...dang it!
I needed to go to that for the latest Final Cut Pro and sure thought it would work. the 'Classic Compressors' all get that -7065 error. I got it on Altaverb, but downloaded an update an all good. I suppose wondering when the will fix it is pretty silly?

Re: Need help with weird plug-in error
Hey There -
I am encountering the same but it seems to conditioned on which Plug In is being loaded. I downloaded AVID Traction BioTek and Loads Fine. However, staples like Vacuum and Velvet render the same error. EcoSystem: Computer: Mac Studio (2022) Chip: Apple M1 Max macOS 12.4 Monterey (Avid Is only reporting support for 12.3) Not sure I can even find an downgrade installer for macOS Given Apples new upgrade/downgrade protocols. Discontinued Sub Release downgrades. Pro Tools v2021.12 Let me know if you find a resolution. I will do the same. Good luck. |
