Default Anyone Using G3 PowerPC 800mhz with Mbox2?

I need to know if the G3 ibook 800mhz is able to run PTLE 7 with an Mbox2? The compatibility docs don't mention any G3's?

If anyone or Digi could chime in I'd appreciate it a whole lot. I need to decside whether to buy a Mbox2 for mobile recording with my laptop.

G3 PowerPC iBook 800Mhz w/640RAM

To run Mbox2 on Tiger and PTLE7.?

Thanks,

If it's not on the Compatibility docs, then it's not "approved" for use, which doesn't mean it necessarily won't work, just that they feel it doesn't meet the requirements to even begin testing with it. You can definitely try it, and it may or may not work, but you're on your own if it doesn't, "not approved" means they don't help you if call tech support about it, they'll just tell you to get a compatible computer. If you're really lucky, there might be a user out there that has this exact combination who could tell you, but since it's not supported, I would imagine there's very few who have tried it. I've been in contact with several of the later G3 iBooks, and they barely run Photoshop at a decent clip, I don't think I'd even try it with PT7.
