Default Avid Link Download
Does anybody know where the Avid Link app downloads the installers to? They are most definitely not in my downloads folder. I’m on a Mac. 10.14

Thank you for your advice, however I am looking for the location that Avid Link downloads its updates to. I have Avid Link installed. I updated Pro Tools using it. I cannot find where it put that installer.

I suspect it does not download an installer. It simply handles the install from Avid's servers. Avid may have the traditional installer .dmg for download on its website.

Avid Link (and previously Application Manager) downloads temporary files to a hidden folder while running installations, and then deletes the installer file(s) after the installation is complete. As mentioned above, if you need to store the installer files for later use, you'd need to download the .dmg files from Avid's website.

Launch Avid Link and click its icon in the menu bar (upper right) then select Preferences. You should see an Open Download Folder button in the Install Options section. You also have Avid Link in my.avid.com/products in case you need to download an installer.
