New G4 DP e Digi 001 resolved

Please select digisistem init in extension folder
and add a space in the field before Digietc.

Tried it and it didnt work all this does is make the extension load first .
But I will try it again, anything to get up and running again. I hate using DP3 in the meantime.
I also did that firmware reset for the fan noise and that worked great !

It work on sys based on
New G4 DP 867 Digi 001 PT 5.1.1
really work, sometime at the first startup
the system freeze than press the reset button
and the second start every good.

Actually the firmware reset goes like tjis

Hold down the (option) +(command)+(o)+(f) keys
when prompted to do so let go you will be in a white firmware window type in (reset-all) and it will restart.

Now No More Excessive Fan Noise from The G4
HOWEVER i will warn all the boot up tricks that used to work no longer do, and i dont know how to get it back to the old firmware setup. So i would not recommend doing this until digi figures out a real fix

I did talk to a rep and he says they've known about this for a while and they are writing new code for the digi init .
Apparently its somthing with the redesigned PCI bus in the mirrorfaces, and a fix should (w/ No Confidence) be out in a week or two.

Also said digi002's aren't even in production yet and
OSX Support by end of year, at the latest Feb.
OSX basicly threw all their code out the window
because its based on UNIX making them start from scratch.

BTW, all info is out of the reps mouth no BS Rumours HERE!

Be sure to install Digi 001 PCI card in the slot numbered 5 ( the last) and inser a space before
Digisistem init. It really work, today i have installed
a second G4 867 DP & digi001 and it work.
Maybe freeze on the first startupso i press reset button
and work.
