Protools doesn't communicate With HUI

I have setup a B&W G3 with protools Mix/888/24. Hui uses the Modem port for communicating with protolls. But it cannot do that. have any clue?

Do you have your OMS setup properly?

Also check you peripherals setup within Pro Tools.

Yes I've setup the OMS and aslo peripherals is set on HUI and Modem for I/O. but it doesn't work.

And the screwy thing about this is that it's a universal setting, but you have to have a session open to change it. It's in the MIDI menu.

MIDI cables?. Sounds dumb but worth checking. Bad cables have bit me in the ass a few to many times.
