Default Avid Venue FOH Rack beeping and not connecting to Profile surface

The Venue FOH Rack in the venue which I work in has recently developed an issue where it powers on, however is not communicating with the console surface itself (surface stays in standby mode). When powered on the rack makes a beeping noise (see link for video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aVu...ew?usp=sharing) there appears to be no power getting to the bottom panel where the FOH Link connector is as USB devices plugged into this panel do not power on either.

Has anyone seen this before? Any suggestions much appreciated.

Check motherboard model in FOH Rack, then google BIOS post codes for it for what does your beep mean.

Great idea^^^. Beyond that, there are several things you can try anyway:
1-change the battery on the motherboard(if you never have, that might be the issue)
2-test the power supply
3-re-seat all cards and RAM
4-the hard drive may have crashed(it happens)

Of course, do this with power disconnected and be careful about static electricity(just as you would when working on a computer, since that what it is)

Thanks guys. I've resolved the issue. Turned out to be a poorly seated stick of RAM.

Cheers!

That's great news! Now go clone the drive so you have a backup for when that does crash
