ILok Trouble

I went to unplug my ILok today and the usb plug and ILok decided to divorce, with the USB staying in the computer. I submitted an RMA at the ilok site, but never got a confirmation page saying it went through, it just took me to the page for the ilok. Anyone have experience with this?

i had a broken ilok a few years ago. everything worked out but took a little back and forth.

My guess is that its saturday and they will be back on Monday.

Was it covered under the protection plan or whatever they call it?

Cause if so Im sure you will have a Much easier time with them.

You won't need Zero Down Time for them to covert it, however, you will have to wait until you mail it in to them.
I know, it sucks that they hold you by the short hairs and they do not offer phone support--
However, most of the plug in folks will give you a 15 day free temp license if you call them- so, if you another key you can at least keep working while they fumble around at pace...

Still nothing. It did say it would take up to 2 weeks to process though... I just want my PT 10 back so I can use it this semester in school.

Still no word from them. Any suggestions? how easy would it be to get a new ilok, and get a replacement licence from Avid?
