Default Strike 1.5 on PT 10 with OSX Lion DAE Error -7054

Hi Everyone,

I just purchased the Strike Plugin 1.5 upgrade for $99 in order to continue using strike now that I have upgraded to Protools 10 as the 1.0 version of strike was not compatible. (I purchased PT10 about 2 weeks ago)

However, after installation I get a DAE error every time I try to use the plugin. PT10 starts up OK, the error occurs as soon as I try and insert strike into an instrument track.

This did not happen with the old 1.0.3 version. (it only had graphics and data source issues.

The Error is

"The plugin could not be made active because a DAE error was encountered. DAE error -7054 was encountered."

Running protools 10 on MAC OSX Lion 10.7.2

I have tried removing all and re-installing All plugins and PT 10, same issue. My ilok shows that the license is good and has been installed.

Strike works fine under Windows 7 in my BOOTCAMP partition. Of course I use MAC OSX for my normal studio work so I must get it working under that OS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is clearly a problem for Avid support. But I am not going to spend another $40 paying for a AVC support code when the fault is almost certainly the Software which I have only just purchased.

The "Set Strike Content Location" application should be used when Strike cannot find its data files (e.g. if data files have been moved to another drive).

Latest version working with PT10

PT10 in /Applications/Avid/Avid Virtual Instruments/Strike

I suppose for PT09 in /Applications/Digidesign /Strike

After installing the update of Strike you should reinstall the Pro Tools 10 Upgrade.
PT 10 will update Strike or other AIR instruments to work with the latest PT
version.
