Pretty sure DP 5 would be SDII. I have an old powerbook G4 with DP 5 still on it, but since I'm in LA it probably would be of no help. Seems there is some kind of file conversion utility that might make them readable.

Are the audio files showing the 'exec' icon in the Finder? If so, did you try rewriting the audio files with Soundhack?
