Exactly. The good thing is those vendors will take themselves out of the market.

Forgive if posted already but Plugin Alliance has v.1.0.3 of Lindell 354E and Lindell 50 Series available which now has Apple Silicon native AAX.

I don’t think we were supposed to say that out load

Some companies have issues though -like Sound Radix with AAP

"During our tests, we discovered a breaking issue with some AudioSuite plug-ins using side-chain (when Pro Tools runs natively).
We’ve reported this issue Avid and we look forward to having Auto-Align Post run natively as AAX in a future update."

I did the PA manager check just now (select 'my products' and scroll thru to find the ones which doesn't have the "excl.AAX" in the info, indicating they're silicon native), and it looks like all Lindell's are native. At least the ones I own are. Installed and working. I have the ones from PA that I like most now installed and working.

Plugin Alliances also has the Kiive TapeFace native and working. Probably their xtressor also, though I haven't tried.

I asked Empirical Labs about ARM AAX, and here's their reply:

Quote:
We have been doing extensive in-house alpha testing for these upcoming updates, and some issues arose that we needed to address before release.
We're hoping to start our beta testing within the next couple weeks, and we will notify you when there is a version available.

It is frustrating for us to not be able to give a specific release date, but know that we are hard at work preparing the updates.
We appreciate your patience! We want our native Apple Silicon users to be able to start running Arousor and BIG FrEQ in their sessions again!

They have no excuse anymore. Not even an AU/VST Native! So that's 2.5 years of just coming up with excuses.

C'mon, some companies drop bits here and bits there, and some drop the whole shebang at once.
