Default Magma Chassis host card - which PCIe slot?

I finally upgraded my old G5 to an Intel Mac. Got a new Mac Pro 6 core.

I'm using my old, dependable Accel PCIx cards in a Magma PE6NE-I chassis (the one that still works.)

In the old days, it was important to choose the "right" PCIe slot. Is that still the case, and if so which one?

I assume that the Digi cards, being 32 bit, are not going to be that demanding in this new Mac, and I'd rather use slot #2 (theoretically the fastest) for a video-editing PCIe SSD card, if possible.

- Thanks.
