Mbox 2 Mini Inputs

I'm trying to decide and make a purchase, but can anyone tell me if the Mbox 2 Mini inputs are balanced? The specs under hardware on the website say unbalanced, but the download .pdf says they are TRS (tip ring sleeve) which would tell me they are balanced. Can anyone that owns one tell me what they are?
