Best affordable laptop to run Pro Tools 9?

Just received my Mobile Pre interface and Pro Tools 9 in the post today, so all I need now is something to use it on.

I know the title is a bit vague, but I was hoping maybe you guys could help, I'm relatively new to pro tools, so I'm being very cautious about starting up my system as I dont want to make a monumental blunder that sets me back from what I ultimately want to do, record my music.

Any help will obviously be much appreciated

I've had excellent results from my Fujitsu AH530 laptop which is about 15 months old. It's an i3 with integrated graphics, so it's "not supported" by Avid, but I've had absolutely no problems with it. For PT9 it ran just as well with 4GB RAM before I upgraded it to 8GB.

Fujitsu now offers an AH531 which is actually cheaper than the $650 I paid for mine, with better specs.

Please note that I do recognize that the cheap laptops I am mentioning here are "not supported." If you are purchasing it specifically for Pro Tools make sure you can return it if it ends up not working for you.

Also note that while I've had no problems with it, it is a low end computer. It is not a great performer in Pro Tools. I can simultaneously record 16 24-bit tracks at 44.1Khz, and I can mix down at least 28 tracks with the stock PT9 plug-ins including a couple VI tracks, but I have to set my buffer at 512 samples or above. That's a bit too much latency for some, but I'm used to it, and it causes me no problems.

24 tracks seems plenty for me as I'll just be recording guitar, vocals and keys, but I dont like the idea of buying an unsupported PC as this could create a lot of hassle for me, I can have a pretty short fuse with technology at times. Thanks anyway, I will keep the Fujitsu in mind.
