Default Re: "Audio engine play start deadline was missed." Huh?

I've seen this a few times myself already, But i'm not sure what it was.

If I went into the buffer settings, and changed it , even if it was to something, then back to what i had, it went away.

For example. I'm running at 128, I press play and see the message. I go into the settings, change the it to 1024 in the drop down menu. click it again and change it to 128 in the drop down menu, then click OK, it stops happening.

This is exactly like that quick start and stop thing I used to get in 6.4, except there was no message. I also found in 6.4, if I disabled my USB, I could keep the error from happening.

Why is this back?? I didn't experience it at all with 7.4.

You are on Mac HD , and I'm on Windows M-Powered, and we're both getting it.
