I am pretty sick of stuff like Avril, too - AND on top of it all, I also have a similar "Unexpected Quit" problem...

My quits are not as frequent as "I Hate..." described, but are very unnerving. My preliminary debugging trail is sniffing in this direction: I have noticed that they seem to occur when taking tracks out of the record enabled state.
