format the drive as a MS-Dos drive (fat32) on the mac. the pc can them read/write to the drive. the mac can also read/write to this format but protools wont see it as a audio drive so you will need to use it as just a transfer drive. copy the session to a mac disk. or you can use mac drive on the PC but that hurts the PC's system/drive performance.
