Input trims were not implemented. The problem with them is that if you sum any inputs the trims are ignored...so you can get into a situation where levels are changing depending on what you are listening to. I just pulled up the XMON flow diagram and it looks like the reason for this is that there was only one gain per Speaker Output. The gain could change for each input if they were solo but as soon as you selected multiple inputs summed, it reverted to no input gain. The ICON probably did the calculation of what the single gain should be, taking the Source value, Speaker Trim value and Volume and setting the single gain each time anything was changed. (This explains why there are no Input Trim commands in the XMON MIDI command set)
