If you don't already own the 003, why not buy an interface that works with what you have? Presonus has several boxes that use USB-c right out of the box(Studio 1810c, Studio 1824c, etc). It doesn't make much sense to buy a 003(even though I am using one
) as the ONLY way it will work is with multiple adapters to convert the MBP's Thunderbolt 3 down to TB1(or 2??) and then to firewire(the adapters will probably cost half the price of a Presonus box)
You should also look at Focusrite, RME, MOTU
