G4-933, Mac OS 10.2.6, PT 6.0.1, HD2, iChat AV Public Beta, iSight,
Cable Modem, Ethernet, No Airport.

I was trying to use iChat AV for a week! with my friend.
I installed Digidesign Core Audio Driver v1.2 and was trying put audio out from
HD Interface. My friend can have my picture and voice, but I didn't... [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img]

His side, "Connection Doctor" of iCaht AV tells almost Video 100% and Audio 100%.
My side's Connection Doctor tells Video 100%, but Audio 0% always!
iChat AV will not open other side's video when you not receiving
both Video and Audio data TOGETHER.
I changed ethernet hub/switch, update firmware of hub/switch, checking firewall setting, etc...
I think that I really did everything, but no luck.... [img]images/icons/mad.gif[/img]

Today, I started test again with my friend, then suddenly open up the window!
I could see my friend's face, but no audio....
then I realized that I forgot to turn on my HD interfaces... Wait a minutes!!! [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img]

I quitted iChat AV and tried to open again, it's smoothly happening right situation!
I plugged mini jack analog audio output of my G4 to my amp.
I could hear his voice clearly!!!
I turned on HD interface and restarted computer, then go back to nightmare... [img]images/icons/mad.gif[/img]

This is a BUG!!! or Digidesign Core Audio Driver v1.2 is not compatible
with iChat AV yet, at least TDM version.
iChat AV is a great communication tool of next era.

Digidesign Core Audio Driver need to be update as soon as possible from Digi. [img]images/icons/cool.gif[/img]
