Default Re: What is \"DAE error-1122 was encountered.\"

Below is what Digi recommends...... after you roam around for a while, you will notice that the "trash preferences..etc" comes up all the time. Do it. The improperly installed flex cable is also common on new setups. good luck, SB

Who knows.. reboot your system a few times and find out.

DAE error -1122 initializing hardware or "Unable to find an Audio Interface attached to the first HD card. Please check power and DigiLink cables" when launching Pro Tools 7.
Corrupted preference file(s). Please trash your preferences and restart the computer to solve this. Preferences are located in:
Mac HD > Users > home > Library > Preferences
Files to trash:
- DAE Prefs
- DigiSetup.osx
- Pro Tools v7.0 preferences
Empty the trash then Restart the computer.

TDM flex cable installed incorrectly. Shut down the computer and check that the flex cable is connected to port B of the Core Card and port A of the first process or accel card, subsequent cards should have port A connected to port B of the previous card. For more details see page 34 of HD Getting Started Guide
