you know, allen, i bought that board for 4 reasons:
1) toms hardware was giving the new AMDs great reviews
2) someone at digi (i think kenn legault) reported good testing with the AMD761 (i think it was a A7M266)
3) i was being egged on by a friend to try it out
4) i ordered the A7M266, but they were out of stock for over a month because of a recall, so i got fed up and went with the GA-7DX, which was in stock
looking back, i'm glad i bought it - its been a super performer. but, i'll never again buy on the "bleeding edge". that sucker put me back quite a few beans...
