Re: Dell Machines and 001?
I wish I would have seen this post sooner. I purchased a Dell Dimension 4100 and installed Digi001 on it. I encountered the -0002 error problem immediately when attempting to install the new hardware.
After pressing the "OK" button several hundred times, I was able to finish the installation. Of course, when the machine boots, I receive the same errors (again, I have to press the "OK" button several hundred times for the machine to boot. Then Protools won't load due to a DAE 0002 error.
Dell should be listed in DigiDesign's nogo PC list. Although, it seems funny to me that one of the top PC manufacturers products won't work well with ProTools. ProTools for the Windows environment needs a lot of seasoning.
