Re: Crossgrades from PCI to PCI-E discontinued ??
We got the confirmation from our dealer this afternoon. We were #4 of 11 clients he had to call who were all doing upgrades this quarter. He said Avid/Digi decided over the weekend without telling any dealers.
All we can do now is try to sell our outdated cards and/or systems and either go Native, or convert everything to another system. Did I just hear someone say "Nuendo"?
I understand Avid's reasoning for this, as it's a BIG money difference for them, but a warning would've been nice.
