Hi all ... Have a very urgent matter.
Can´t open a very important session due to the following message:
pro tools cannot open this session because it was created on an older version of pro tools.

I have read all old post but nothing works..
On a new firewire disk with 2 partitions I created a session on my HD3 PT10.03.5 -recorded voiceover for 2 hour, played back the files and saved and closed the session (I pressed save many times during the recordings too). Created another session on an internal disk, worked with that for an hour -and closed to open the first session again.
-Then i got the message: pro tools cannot open this session because it was created on an older version of pro tools.
Tried on other Mac OS 10.6.8 ProTools rigs
-PT 10.3.5 HD 3 Blue Interface
-PT 10.3.7 Full production Toolkit with DIGI 002 AND
-PT 10.3.0 HD 2 Build in Audio

and got the same message: pro tools cannot open this session because it was created on an older version of pro tools.

-Then I tried to import into a new clean session

and got the same message: pro tools cannot open this session because it was created on an older version of pro tools.

-Then I tried to import and audio file a new clean session.
When the audio file was selected the ADD button stayed "grayed out"

Finally I tried to open a wav in other audio programs no luck :-(
Quicktime says: (OSStatus error -208)
BWavReader says: (This doesn´t seem to be a Wav file)

In the session folder I see the files, the size count are approx. as they should be.

Please give me any info or tips ???
