Pro Tools 11.3.1 doesn't struggle on my current Win 7 64 PC, it runs great, and my sessions are 24/96. I'm not planning on upgrading Pro Tools (I don't have enough RAM for that), just Windows.
But yeah, good points about taking safety backups, I'm already feeling twitchy about attempting the Win 10 upgrade, not knowing whether Pro Tools 11.3.1 and the 002Rack driver will function.
I guess the other question is: is Win 10 Home more resource hungry than Win 7 Home 64 bit SP1? If so, then Pro Tools won't be performing as well as it does currently.
