I do this with both a Streamdeck and via Eucon... oh and I also have it in Better Touch Tool.
Key command wise, you can string a macro together to go from the Smart Tool to change the smart tool to have the TCE active by entering,
Command 2 Command2
then to get back to the normal/standard smart tool with
Command 2 Command2 Command 2 Command 7
Hope that makes sense. (can happen instantly using a key macro).
