Can anybody replicate this, specifically on a PC (LE or HD), though would be interested if this also effects Mac.

Enable the Smart Tool and use the Key Commands Start-click or Control-click (Mac). As you can see, this will change the cursor to the Pencil tool, now, draw a note and try to erase this note by, Alt-Start-click or Option-Control-click (Mac) what happens?
