I've got two Protools systems running together using the Avid Satellite Link. Systems in my signature:
Administrator system is Windows 10 Protools 2023.3 Ultimate HD Native via the Red 8 Pre.
Satellite system is Mac OSX Monterrey and Dante Virtual Soundcard with Protools 2023.3 vanilla/studio/regular/whatever we are calling it this week.
The Satellite system is offset from the Admin system by 1 hour. If I put the cursor on the Admin system at 0:37:00.0, the satellite system will go to 1:37:00.0.
There's no pre roll or lead in time enabled that I can see.
Has anyone else seen this? Is there somewhere else in the configuration set up that would affect this time sync? No I don't have an HD Sync.
The only odd thing about the set up is that the Satellite system is running via DVS on my closed Dante network which my Red 8 Pre is connected to. I've used this same set up previously with no issues, but it's been about a year and half. I've obviously upgraded the OSX and Protools versions since then. I'm using the same NetGear GS108PEv3 switches for the Dante system and the Avid Satellite Link.
