Perhaps I can contextualise this article a bit, and address a couple of points you've made?

I don't have any insider information.
I'm not a beta tester, I'm not part of Avid in any way.
If I was then I mostly likely couldn't talk about it.

I am mostly *not a journalist* too- I compose , produce and engineer.
Writing for Experts and other portals is something I do separate from that.

In this instance I was asked to document what, as a HDX1 owning freelance producer/engineer, the new hybrid engine would mean to my workflow.
So I wrote the article- nearly 2 weeks ago now.

Every piece of information in that article is either something that was posted on Avid's website, or discussed in the webinar they presented on the Friday before (if memory serves correctly), or it is just my opinion on how it will transform my workflow.
That is all the article was.
