This is NOT any sort of crack or hack, it just addresses the IE8 issue.
You need to completely uninstall pro tools along with any registry remnants.
Then install the registry file.
Then do a clean install of Pro Tools 7.4

Im going to try this now, but before I do, What is the absolute best and surest way to remove my installation of PT 7.4 ? Including registry inputs ?
