Connector was indeed released a year ago, as a tool to
connect pro audio apps together on one or several computers.
The initial idea was actually to
stream audio & MIDI between remote locations with low latencies, but we were able to validate this usage just recently, after the fiber finally made it to the office! It's amazing that modern networks now let you play with other musicians remotely!
