you need to buy the Pro Tools 8 upgrade.
then download the 8.0.3r update for SNow Leopard

8.0.3r is a PRERELEASE, so donīt expect total smooth operation with snow leopard.

or 8.0.1
and 8.0.1cs1 for Leopard.
This combo works smoothly.
