Just to be clear? eSATA is a one on one connection to SATA unless there is a port multiplier (and chipset involved)...correct? There is some confusion calling Port Multipliers, Port Replicators...

Rip Van Winkle here. Last I was using were these hi-tech twisted teflon coated LVD SCSI cables rolled into a tube for better airflow. Is it just me or are common SATA cables just plain whimpy?
