Re: Upgrading to PT 2021.10 on macOS 10.13.6 (Hi Sierra)
Ok, to answer my own question for those in the same situation:
I made two bootable back-ups of my system drive, renamed my previous Pro Tools version to ”Pro Tools 20.11”, left it in the Applications folder and installed PT 2021.10 along with the new HD driver.
I also updated EuControl to 2021.10.0.96 with the requested FW updates for my Dock and S3 and lastly Avid Control to 2021.10.0.40. So far it seems to work just fine for me on my 5,1 (FW-upgraded from 4,1) running Hi Sierra.
