Why do you need to update the ERXP? What firmware is currently on the unit?
The reason you must run the ERXP from the same computer is that when you first run the Firmware updater, there are hidden files installed that lock your S/N and ID to that computer and OS. Otherwise someone could just email their S/N and ID to anyone and that person could update their 11R for free. Its a protection scheme.
