That sounds correct as far as passing signal. One thing that you will want to do is solo that matrix if you are mixing two mics from the same cabinet and make sure that you are getting what you want. If you are adding both mics into a mono bus, you are gonna get into some comb filtering. Proceed with caution on this and be aware of this potential.
