Those that are having problems may be because they have not read the installation guide. For example, if you don't download the specific hardware drivers, you can't access the hardware.

Others have old plug-ins that are causing problems.

It's recommended by Digi to uninstall PT, load the drivers and then load PT9.

After their problem is solved, most won't come back to report their success because they were doing something wrong and are embarrassed to report it.

No software is perfect and there are problems with PT like an update erasing needed files. Rest assured this is not the final version of 9!

I'm fine with PT9 on my Mac.
