Hy, I have had this problem for a long.

I use pro tools for music only, and every time I work with the midi change program option,,,pro tools crash....
I have a fresh S L. installation and just a few plugins.

waves 7-vienna ensemble pro , vienna instruments pro, kontakt, omnisphere, s. drummer and thats all.
I usually have access violation working with midi too...
If I don't find a solution I think I will move to logic...
