Necessary to purchase renewal for support?
My upgrade and support contract is up on March 31st, so I paid the $99 for the Annual Upgrade Plan and see that has been extended through 2017. Are there any cons to not renewing the support piece? I don't use the plugins Avid is tying into the Support renewal and have always gotten equivalent or better support from the DUC as any time I've used Avid's support, so I just don't see the value in spending the extra money.
If at any point in the future I decide I want the support is it still just $99 to add on or is there some sort of support reinstatement fee?
