Default Strange Problem...

Hello. I bought the Digi001 when they first came out... I've used PTLE on Win98 and now XP...Never really had any problems... About a month ago I used the system to record some radio promos and as usual, it worked great. Today I started the machine up to do some recording and regardless of what session I open and try to play, I get the error message:

"DAE can't get audio from the disk(s) fast enough. Your disk may be too slow or too fragmented. A firewire disk could be having trouble due to the extra firewire bandwidth or CPU load (-9073)."

In accordance with what the error said, I defragmented my drive... Still no go. I've created new sessions and imported small wav files into them and get the same error. I'm not using and firewire...

I've searched this forum and the answer base, but have not found a fix that worked.

I've not installed any new software, updates..etc. This PC has never been networked or been online... It's only used for recording... I've been using this PC in it's current configuration for over 2 years now...

Does anyone have any ideas on why this problem has occured and/or how to fix it?

I'm running WinXP SP1, never installed SP2.
