Here's my wannabe track.
I did all the instrumentation myself and give it a real-world rating of 6.5
No vocals -1
Artificial sounding instruments/quantized feel (stock Xpand 2 sounds) -1
Not professionally mixed/mastered -1
Scratch guitar performances (just to get the ideas across) -.5
I have lyrics and tried singing the vocal ideas but I'm just wasn't born with a voice.
So I emulated the vocal melodies with synth sax.
I'm not selling myself short on the ideas - it's a nice sketch demo. Just would like to hear it performed by a real band with a female singer singing the lyrics n melodies.
