Well the best/first way to get accurate targeted help suggestions,, is list your system ..
" normal" ??? the window size in PT is continuously variable by dragging on the lower corner ... Try dragging out the corner to the size you want and then save it and relaunch.
OR if you are on a Mac you hold "Option" and click the green button at top which gives you full size but still show dock and top header bar
If that does not work try trashing PT preferences
