3JDamon,

Look in the settings for the mouse, and play around with the accaleration. If i am right you can set it so it has higgh resulution when you move it slowly, but if you move it fast it will fly off the screen. Should help you keep the mouse on the pad, and stop make clicking a small nightmare (i know what you mean, i have the same problem with tablets. They drive me crazy....20 tries to click on OK.... )

(to change the settings, go to the control panel/mouse properties/pointer options. Set "pointer speed" around the middle, and check "enhance pointer precision.)
