Panic about new Carbon purchase connections
There’s no TB port because it doesn’t connect via TB. It’s using AVB which connects via Ethernet.
Go directly via Ethernet to the Carbon. The Trashcan has 2 x Ethernet connections, so you’re fortunate in that you don’t need an adaptor if you need Ethernet for other usage.
Also, you’ll need to upgrade that MP 6,1 to Catalina and run minimum PT 2020.11.
