I'd say a HDX2 is roughly equivalent to a HD6 (at least), but it's really hard to compare with very few 3rd party DSP plug-ins available at this point. I'm easily opening sessions on the HDX 2 (with plenty of processing/voices to spare) that were maxing out the HD6 before (192 voices, 9+ Revibes, DMG Equality EQ's and Avid compressors on every track, etc). Sessions also open and close much faster, and play start times are 1/3 what they were before.
