Since you are starting from scratch, I recommend doing some drive images during the process:
Image #1-with Windows installed and tweaked, all drivers for all hardware and with quicktime installed.
Image #2-with Pro Tools installed and tested for proper function.
Image #3-with all your plugins installed.
Image #4-after a month or two of smooth sailing, this will be your "Fully working dandy" image for the future(its up to you if you want to delete earlier images, but I would keep them as drive space is cheap these days)
