need help please

can someone tell me if getting this mixer would save alot of computer problems as in latency, plugins, slow screen redraws? will the mic pres be better than the oo1? how would i interface this with digi(the best configuration). also can i use plugins in conjuction with the on board effects of the mixer and should i mix with portools or do all on the ov1? your help is greatly appreciated
