To all those asking, it seems that the free Heat offer is for those that renew their annual "perpetual update and support plan" since the offer was announced sometime in November 2021. If you updated before that, you will most likely not see the offer. You will most likely need to wait until the next year's renewal if it is still offered. Perhaps contacting Avid will help. Sorry if this is not what you wanted to hear.

Think of it like you just bought a computer and the month after there is a special deal where you get a free wireless earphones with the purchase of the computer. You usually can't go back and demand the free earphones since you bought it before the offer was available. There are specific promotion periods that are observed.
