Can't remember off the top of my head if that MBA has a TB connection. If it does, get a TB to FW adapter and you should be fine.
I use a MBA occasionally with a FW interface and the adapter works perfectly.
If it doesn't have TB though, your SOL. You'll have to use a USB interface.
